Our Story
Our story began back in 1963, when my father started as a wagon peddler in Puerto Rico, visiting body shops and selling his goods. He quickly proved to be a talented businessman—hardworking, dedicated, and truly service-oriented. Over the years, he grew that humble operation into two successful retail stores and a warehouse before eventually retiring.
Following in his footsteps came naturally to me. Since the age of six, I spent my summers riding in that van, selling putty squeegees to body shop professionals and learning the ins and outs of the trade. I still remember unloading containers of Dynatron Bondo by hand—long before the lighter formulas we have today!
Today, we’re proud to continue that legacy. After more than 50 years in the industry, we’ve gained valuable experience and knowledge, and we’re always happy to share it. What hasn’t changed is our commitment to hard work, reliable service, and putting the customer first.
In 2018, we opened the main location of VS Coatings in Miami, offering nearly 9,000 square feet of retail space with a wide selection of products. Building on that success, we opened a second location in the City of Opa-Locka in February 2021.
